WISE MAN

How do you spend your time?
How do I spend my time?

A day has twenty-four hours
Out of which we think most is ours
The time is a purposeless gift
While life is a purposeful drift

The more I respect a friend of mine
The more I value his time
When someone tells me it’s false
It feels like a bad dream-like curse

Time, time is what you get
Life, life is what you bet
Time, time is what you get
Life, life is what you bet

When the wise man points at the moon
The dumb man looks at the finger
Great moments, big and sublime
Cannot be measured by time

Time, time is what you get
Life, life is what you bet
Time, time is what you get
Life, life is what you bet
